Lovely Leiden
Leiden is a beautiful city with a great history. Fortunately, you can still see that when you visit the Burcht, the botanical gardens, the Observatory or one of the 35 ‘hofjes’ in Leiden . History is actually there for the taking! In addition, Leiden has 13 fantastic museums, all within walking distance of each other. They offer a surprising range of nature, art and culture and are well worth a visit. But Leiden is also very nice for a shopping visit. Most shops are located in the Haarlemmerstraat, but there are also many nice boutiques in the Breestraat, the Nieuwe Rijn and in the Pieterskwartier. Everything can be reached on foot from the Downtown Leiden apartments. For lovers of the beach: Katwijk and Noordwijk are very close. In the evening you can have a nice drink on one of the many terraces around the Nieuwe Rijn or the beautiful area around the harbor. You will find our favorites in Leiden here>>
